The symfony library being in constant evolution, the First project tutorial could cause headaches with some of the most recent versions. So we upgraded the sandbox to the latest beta, rewrote part of the tutorial itself, and finally published the source (as a sandbox) of the tutorial.
This should do for the newcomers.
As for the old timers, they will be pleased to learn that two new HowTos have just been added to the symfony book:
- How to repopulate a form (and all about the new sfFillInFilter)
- How to upload a file (including in a generated administration, with the new object_admin_input_upload_tag helper)
Those two chapters deal with very usual problems, and we have seen numerous requests for such step-by-step documentation. We hope you will find them useful.
