On October 18, 2005, Fabien Potencier commited the first changeset of symfony's source code. Therefore, our favorite PHP framework has just turned 3 years old.

Although symfony is a mature and reliable project, it still grows at a frenetic pace, as shown by these milestones:

Most of the previous milestones couldn't be possible without the continuous support of the community, so we would like to thank you all for improving symfony everyday.
