The sfAdvancedConstPlugin is a symfony plugin that provides app wide constants functionality. It automatically generates constant values based on sfRefTable values and make them accessible in every app module. It works the following way - go through the tables defined in sfRefTable and generate for each id / name pair from this table constants. This plugin is different from sfConst plugin which required to keep all the constants directly in sfConst table and did not require ref tables. Effectively, both plugins are usefull to be used.

The sfConstPlugin is a symfony plugin that provides app wide constants functionality. It automatically generates constant values based on sf_const table values and make them accessible in every app module. This plugin's functionality is quite similar to sfSettingsPlugin functionality. The difference is that this plugin automatically generates unique constant names based on constant name and reference to pair of table/field. Plugin can be helpfull if you have a big number of reference tables like statuses, types, etc and don't want to create atomic tables for each table reference.

The sfEmailTemplatePlugin is a symfony plugin that provides email templates management functionality. It includes admin area where user is able to create and manage email subject/body (both html and text versions) and them system-wide constant values are generated for each email template and its elements, e.g. MYTEMPLATE_SUBJECT and MYTEMPLATE_BODY. This way emails can be easily added to mass mailer layers like swift mailer or so. The other cool feature of this plugin is an ability to create and manage tags for email templates. So that user may define template with using of %NAME%, %DATE%, etc tags and they will be replaced with real values on the sending stage.
