Diem is a CMF, or a CMS builder.
It does not come with predefined modules.
As Symfony do, Diem helps to create very specific applications, in very little time.
Symfony allows to build applications like websites, extranets, CMS, games...
Diem only does websites. As it is more specific, it allows much more automation.
This is the 5th version.
It is a from-scratch rewrite for Symfony 1.4 and Doctrine 1.2, with parts of the Zend Framework like Lucene and CodeGenerator.
This version is designed to have an opensource life.
This is not a normal plugin that you can install in sf_plugins_dir of an existing project.
