This plugin permits to have an abstract access to the filesystem, whatever its type. The plugin currently supports the traditionnal "disk" filesystem and FTP servers, and provides an easy way to add support for additional file storage systems (FTP, etc.). This plugin is particularly useful for applications that manage files (a media library, a file upload, etc.), as it provides an easy way to abstract the access to the filesystem. Relocating the files to a new file storage system during the life of the application is made a lot easier, as it only consists in using or writing a new filesystem adapter. It currently features: filesystem access abstraction supports Symfony 1.2 -> 1.4 ORM agnostic available adapters : disk, ftp unit tests |

pkAdminQuickCreatePlugin
MIT

Many admin generator forms involve making associations between the object being edited and related objects. For instance, when adding an event to a calendar, you may need to associate that event with a DJ or a band. Symfony's admin generator can provide pulldowns to select these, but what if the y don't already exist? pkAdminQuickCreatePlugin makes it easy to implement "quick create" buttons that step aside to another admin generator module, create an object, and then bring the user back to complete the rest of the original form with all of their work intact. |
